You're coverage of Julian's case has been amazing. With truth tellers so few and outnumbered by presstitutes the challenges are even more valuable. Glenn's critique of Morning Joe was good but I agree it should be six lies. Of course it's impossible to put every fact into every rebuttal but there are a few seldom mentioned points left just as a reminder. Most came out in Manning's trial.
WikiLeaks was the third choice for Manning to leak to she was back in Maryland on leave and tried to get NYTimes, WaPo and Politico to look at the evidence and all of them blew her off. Only after failing to find a publication to leak to did Manning then upload to WikiLeaks.
As far as Manning conspiring with Assange there is the problem that is critical in every hacking case and that is attribution by putting fingers on the keyboard. Manning was in chats with someone at WikiLeaks but did not know if it was Assange or not. There is no evidence who was in those chats.
Lastly with respect to hacking, every document WikiLeaks received from Manning was freely available with permissions granted with her analyst job. Manning did not hack anything either. these were routine work documents with no special access.
The discussion about bypassing security features that never happened and was never established to be with Julian, was not to access secrets but to download music which was banned on SIPRNet.. These kids wanted tunes and the SECRET component of the "Defense Information Systems Network" blocked those gateways. It really puts a cramp in the nefarious intent angle, eh?
