Clearly there is a double standard and I agree that Israel should have been barred on the same grounds that Russia has been. On the point about serving IDF members who are competing athletes in France being singled out for special condemnation I'm a little less convinced by your argument. One cannot avoid military service as a citizen of Israel. This is a simple truth. Those individuals who have acted in ways that many people would find unacceptable have done so because of their own history.
